Entropay – Should i USE Entropay When Gambling Online?

EntroPay Payment and Withdrawal

The continued increase in online gambling, has led to the creation of many new ways to deposit and withdraw money in to gambling accounts.  The original methods of Bank Transfer and debit or credit cards are still available but for those who do not want to provide direct access to their bank account, virtual methods, such as EntroPay, have become popular.

EntroPay was developed in 2003 by Ixaris Systems Ltd, which is based in London, England.  The company is licensed by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and works in conjunction with Visa, the popular debit and credit card money transfer business.

EntroPay is basically a form of virtual currency, by means of an online Visa card.  Using EntroPay, purchases can be made anywhere online, which accepts a Visa card.  It’s a pre-paid debit card, meaning you have to have funds on the card, in order to use it.  It does not work on the credit system.

Types of Payment

To use EntroPay, all you have to do is head over to the website and register by entering some simple details.  You will then be asked to enter a funding source, such as a debit or credit card and funds will taken from this account, and added to your EntroPay virtual card.  Once you have funds on your EntroPay virtual card, you can then use it for online gambling.

Keep in mind, there are fees involved when funding EntroPay and currently they charge 4.95% to use a credit or debit card.

Using EntroPay to Bet Online

The good thing about using EntroPay, is that it’s very similar to using a Visa debit card when gambling online.  So, to make a deposit, you will need to head to the deposit page of your chosen gambling website and look for the link to EntroPay.  You will then be required to enter the EntroPay card number, the full name on the card, the validity date on the card and the security code, which is usually 3 digits long.  Enter the amount of money you would like to deposit and complete the transaction.

The amount of money you have requested, will appear immediately in your gambling account and be ready to use.  The majority of online sports books, casinos, poker rooms and gaming sites do not charge a fee to deposit using EntroPay.

Withdrawing money from your gambling account, on to your EntroPay card, is also very straightforward.  It’s simply a case of selecting the withdrawal option in your gambling account and choosing EntroPay from the list.  Fill in the amount of money you would like to withdraw and it will be transferred to EntroPay account.  There is a fee of 1.95% for this service.

Once money has been withdrawn on to the EntroPay card, it can be used to purchase items online, where Visa is accepted.

As you can see, it’s basically identical to using a Visa debit card.
